We recently had the priviledge of working with Ed Pettus at Eddies Rod and Custom on his exciting creation - The Lockheed Lakester.

The Lockheed Lakester is an all aluminum, wing tip tank from a Lockheed Super Constellation aircraft that has been transformed into a two-person, turbo charged, Hemi 4-cylinder speedster in the style of a vintage salt flat racer.
The Lockheed Lakester is currently on display at the Oshkosh Airventure Museum.

Special thanks to Banacom Signs for the graphics on the Lockheed Lakester and for their work in helping us transport the Lakester in style.

Banacom is always there for us whenever we need custom decals for equipment we build, and they did beautiful work once again on this project.
